On Kingdom Building In the Biblical Family Part 1What are we here for ? What is it that gives our life meaning, direction and purpose ? What does God want from us ? The answer to these questions, the first two of which are often heard in society, is found in the very beginning of the bible, Genesis 1, verses 27 and 28, as quoted above. God wants us to be fruitful and multiply, and He wants us to be stewards of His creation. So Kingdom Building is a matter of fulfilling God's will for us, the reason why he blessed us. It includes every sphere of life, brought under the authority of God. When Jesus taught the multitude how to pray, he said: "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." (Mat 6:9-10).We believe that since Christ died for our sins, we go about Kingdom Building as the body of Christ, His Church, and the place to be this Church and to do His will on earth is within our family. The family is the place where we are fruitful and multiply, the family is the place where we are good, responsible stewards of what we are and what we have been given, the family is the place where we live obedient to God's will, to His glory.
