Our perspective is biblical, on marriage as well as on every other aspect. That being said, it is significant with regards to Scripture on the one hand, and obvious from this site on the other, that the idea of marriage that we trust to be valid includes the possibility of more than one wife, most commonly know as plural marriage or polygamy. Our intention on this site is not to defend the continuing validity of polygamy, although there are countless vocal critics, but simply to explore what the biblical polygamous family is and includes, according to Scripture.

Therefore, we have tried to avoid engaging in debate or defense of the institution of biblical plural marriage, and are only doing that in a few articles that you will find under the Law of YHWH section, but do not intend to take it any further than that.

We never wanted to invite accusations or debate, and we are not about to respond to them anymore, having basically said all there is to say. We know what we believe and we know that what we believe is firmly based on God's word, the only valid yardstick. There are also numerous sites on the internet that are devoted to defending the concept of plural marriage, and although we do not necessarily agree with them all, we would recommend that you pursue one of those avenues if your intention is to argue.

Personally, we find the whole discussion to be fruitless, since we stand firm in our convictions. In other words, we are blockheads and are impervious to any type of persuasion, if you like to think of it that way.
